Now summer is coming to an end and passing the baton to autumn, and the back to school rush is over it can only mean one thing Halloween is on its way.
I know Halloween can be a slightly marmite holiday here in the U.K. , You either love it or you hate it. I for one fall into the love it camp, I think I always have, well for as long as I can remember anyway. This love of Halloween was only compounded when for our 1st wedding anniversary me and MrM&TTT holidayed in Orlando Florida, despite our holiday not even touching anywhere near October we were able to go to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party at Walt Disney worlds magic kingdom, and at the same time although we didn’t go as the dates clashed Universal studios also had a terrifying Halloween party event.
Most people know that Halloween is big business in the USA but what they don’t realise is that here in the U.K. Halloween is actually one of the most popular and commercial holidays, after Christmas of course!
As a child I didn’t go trick or treating as it wasn’t that big a thing (I’m old!), now though as a parent I love nothing more than helping the tiny 3 carve pumpkins and decorating the house for those children that are brave enough to knock our door.
Of course we also love dressing up the tiny 3, usually in their own unique costumes but sometimes it’s fun to dress them up the same! They love going trick or treating with us!
So that said its time I started thinking about what to dress them up as this year, and to make my mind up I think I’ll have a look at this list predicting the top costumes for the year
So which would you choose? Do you love or hate Halloween & how do you celebrate? Let me know.
