Coombe Mill Holiday: Exploring Carnglaze Caverns

On Wednesday 19th February we visited Carnglaze Caverns we weren’t really sure what to expect as we drove to it but on the website it looked like something that the kids would enjoy, although it was a case of carrying LA as again it was suitable for buggies and it was a bit rough for her newly toddling legs to cope with.

We had such a good time in the caverns and the kids loved the fact that they had to wear hard hats like Bob the Builder.
There’s not really much I can write about our visit so I’ll let the photos do the talking for me!

After walking around the caverns we went on a fairy hunt in the gardens

We found 68 fairies, 1 wizard, 1 dragon and no Gruffalo’s, but most importantly we had a fantastic morning together and the kids had so much fun, JR couldn’t quite get his head around the fact that he was under the ground.
All the walking and exploring made us all very hungry so we headed off the Trago mills for some dinner, to re fuel before having an afternoon of adventures at the beach!
I’m linking this with the lovely Fiona at coombe mill and country kids Country Kids from Coombe Mill Family Farm Holidays Cornwall
