Does luck really exist or is it a frame of mind?

When I was much younger I had a season ticket at The Hawthorns, each home game me and my dad would do the same things in the same order. Why? Because at some point we’d done those exact things in that exact order and West Bromwich Albion had won. So obviously if we didn’t do those exact things we would lose, they were part of our lucky ritual. I can also remember that my dad would hold the ends of his scarf if the baggies were attacking as that would mean the attack definitely result in a goal (although 9 times out of 10 it didn’t). Of course nothing me, my dad or any of the other fans did would affect the outcome, so in that case it was a definitely a frame of mind.

I do think there are instances where luck does exist, take for example Bingo at Paddypower, You need a bit of luck to win because you need the numbers on your card to be called, but its not just luck because you have to be playing to be able to win.
