My kids all love slime, and they also all love unicorns so the Poopsie Surprise Unicorn seemed like the perfect toy for them. Poopsie Surprise Unicorn is exactly what it says an adorable unicorn doll that poops slime when you feed her magical unicorn food.  The only downside I could see at first was the price £49.99 for a surprise toy, in fact there are 4 different ones to collect and until you open it you don’t actually know which one you are getting. In fact £49.99 for a toy unicorn that doesn’t really do much seems a lot. However, when I was asked if I would like to review one I thought why not I know it is on all 3 kids letters to Santa and if it turned out to be worth it then maybe they’d be lucky enough to find some under the tree on Christmas morning.

Quite honestly I wish I hadn’t bothered the most exciting part was opening the box and finding out who we’d got, the rest was just frustrating, not only for me but for the kids as well.

We followed all the poop slime making instructions word for word, but instead of getting slime we got a mess, all over the floor, the table and ourselves, this then resulted in a massive meltdown from my autistic son, which is why there are not any actual photos in the review.

The following morning when the children were at school I tried again on my own to make the slime and once again I failed, so I found and watched a you tube tutorial tried again and once again failed. It was at this point that I gave up trying, I had ruined 2 pairs of jeans and again the table and floor were a mess.

I will be honest I don’t recommend this toy at all. I don’t think it is worth the money and it is not a toy that children could get on with and play, there is a lot of cleaning involved and it seems like it is actually just a glorified slime making machine that doesn’t even work. After you give up on making the slime you’re left with an overpriced toy unicorn baby that doesn’t do anything.
