I was recently tagged in a meme by the lovely dadwhoblogs his playlist can be viewed here Now I have to admit, I’ve never done one of these before but here goes.
This meme is about the playlist you’d drive to in the summer, now here’s my problem I DON’T DRIVE (learning is on my to do list) but I thought instead I’d list the songs I’d happily listen too on my iPod sat in the back of the car being driven. So here goes, feel free to laugh!! (Please don’t)

My first song is Men in Black by Will Smith. I can remember me and my sister trying to learn the words and dance to this.

My Second choice brings back loads of memories, from when I used to go to work with my dad on a Saturday morning I’d go out on deliveries with the drivers one in particular would wind the windows down and blast this song out full blast, banging on the roof of the van at just the right time. Its love shack by the B 52’s

My third choice is in my opinion is an absolute classic Bryan Adams Summer of ’69

My fourth and final choice is very cheesy but is fantastic to sing a long to its a grease medley i defy you to not sing-a-long.

These are my least embarrassing song choices, go on you can laugh now!

There is a serious message behind the idea of a great driving soundtrack. THINK! research suggests that almost 20% of accidents on major roads are sleep or tiredness related. Long journeys on motorways can lead to a lack of concentration and, as well as other preventative measures, listening to songs you love can be a great way to stay alert and focused on the road.
