This week was a week of getting back into a normal routine after last weeks fun in Cornwall, although we still managed a bit of fun during our post holiday slump.
Day 54
JR found an ingenious way to use our Coombe mill car sticker for his ‘What I did on my holiday’ homework.
Day 55
Saw the return of the school run which continued as it ended – wet!
Day 56
TP made me a mountain out of blocks
Day 57
Me and TP spent the morning creating playdoh monsters. After he got a free kit on the cover of his cbeebies magazine.
Day 59
The boys were very excited about a parcel that arrived from Tiny Discoverers.
Day 60
TP enjoyed playing pass the parcel at his friends birthday party, for the 1st time I didn’t have to help him he was able to follow the rules himself.

Absolutely loving Iron man! Made me chuckle.
thank you. Both boys but TP in particular are suddenly really into superheroes and iron man is a favorite even though they don’t watch the cartoons
nice to see them growing up and able to play without help. I like the brick mountain, and the playdoh monsters look fab
Yes it really is good to see but also makes me feel a little bit sad too 🙁
I feel much the same way about my 2 growing up – swinging from “great, I can unload the dishwasher now you’re playing” to “what, you don’t need me. Oh….” These are such lovely pictures – a great mountain of blocks and terrific monsters. What a super birthday party to have a pass-the-parcel – my least favourite to organise but I keep trying! – here’s hoping sun will replace rain soon!
Love the playdough monsters, very imaginative.
