An afternoon with Skribbies

On wednesday afternoon I ventured out on the train alone with the tiny 3 to the bullring birmingham, where we had been invited by skribbies to their pop up shop.
When we arrived JR’s skribbies were waiting for him to collect, and he wasted no time getting the box open to see what was inside.
Each pair of Skribbies comes with 6 pens, a sticker sheet and a wrist band which doubles as an eraser and pen holder for all your on the go doodling

When I told him the pens were so he could draw on his shoes he looked slightly puzzled, after all everyone knows you draw on paper not shoes!
Once I’d convinced him that no one would shout at him he got stuck in.

The shoes start at a child’s size 10 as the designer thought that at that sort of size children would be old enough to know you can’t just draw on any shoe!
JR says the trainers are really comfortable and chooses to wear them instead of his batman trainers on most days where I give him the choice.
He loves the fact he can change how his shoes look and often he will sit and draw on his shoes even if we’re going no where!
For Easter he designed these

We have tested the Skribbies for 2 weeks now wearing them in mud and to kick a football and the have really withstood the tests so not only are they fun they are also very durable.

Disclosure we received a pair of skribbies free of charge for the attending the event and also to enable us to write this short review all photos and opinions are those of mine and JR
