So what would my perfect Christmas Day look like? Would it have mountains of presents under the tree? Would it involve eating the worlds biggest turkey? Maybe a lie-in? No I don’t think it would be any of those things to be quite honest, you see I think my Christmases to date have been pretty Continue reading →

Uk sleeping habits
I don’t know about you but I never seen to get enough sleep, I think that my bedtime habits of blog reading or checking my social media accounts don’t help. How do you sleep? disclosureThis is a collaborative post

A lifelong dream trip
A few weeks ago my lovely brother-in-law phoned to ask if he could borrow my camera for a few days in January. I asked if that meant he was coming to visit as, as he lives in Spain he obviously couldn’t just pop round to pick it up. This is when he told me that Continue reading →

Ben the elf comes to stay
When the tiny 3 got up this morning they had a fantastic surprise a visitor had come to stay until Christmas Eve – Ben the Elf. (You can tell what programme the boys are big fans off can’t you!) As thank you for letting me stay gifts Ben the Elf brought with him some advent Continue reading →
Recently with the announcement that monty python will be reforming, I have been thinking a lot about the way my comedy tastes have changed over the years. Not only that I’ve also been thinking about how comedy seems to have changed on television. I have always for as long as I can remember loved watching Continue reading →

First steps a proud mommy moment
This past Sunday something amazing happened, something fantastic. Let me start at the beginning. Sunday morning me my dad and TP went Christmas shopping to costco in Birmingham, JR wanted to stay with Grandma and he wanted LA to stay with him too. My mom agreed that would be okay so off we went leaving Continue reading →

Winter Gardening
As most of my readers will know at the end of the summer we moved from our small gardenless flat into a three bedroom two garden house. The part of the house we were most excited about wasn’t the fact that LA would have her very own bedroom or the fact that the tiny 3’s Continue reading →
A day with little tikes

This past Thursday (21/11/2013) me and TP were lucky enough to be invited to the Little Tikes Christmas play date in Milton Keynes. The morning started very early, but not early enough in our case as we very nearly missed the train due to the traffic in Birmingham City centre. However we managed to make Continue reading →

Nursery now or later?
This past week I’ve been deliberating over whether or not I’ve made the right decision for TP’s education or not. Last week I received a phone call from JR’s school to say that TP could start nursery there in January. It is a phone call that I was expecting after all JR stared in January Continue reading →

Terror at 70 miles per hour! Updated to include photos
This morning me, Mr M&TTT, and the tiny 3 were making our way to Beale Park Reading, for the Matilda Mae welly walk and family fun day. The morning started off like any other day we had an early start, me & Mr M&TTT got up early and got ourselves ready whilst trying and failing Continue reading →
This week my baby boy turned 5 how on earth did that happen I’ll never know it only seems 2 minutes since he was born!
Well as regular readers will know 2 weeks ago his little brothers birthday card was on cbeebies, well this week Jr waited in anticipation to see if andy or Alex would show his well they did and here it is:
This week my gorgeous sister has been visiting from Wickford Essex, where she moved to in the summer.
Friday night was her last night here, and because she will miss Jackson’s birthday on Tuesday she decided throw him a birthday fireworks party. No birthday is complete without a cake so my sister spent all day making this one.
An afternoon autumnnal adventure

With this week being half term, and the weather not being too bad, me and Mr m&ttt decided we’d wrap the boys up warm in their water proofs and wellies and headed of to Saltwells Wood. Shockingly although we only live a 2 minute drive from the woods and have planned to go on several Continue reading →

Festival of children’s literature Bitmingham – Guest Post
It’s never too early to get kids excited about books. Not only will you be doing them a favour (research has shown that kids who love reading do better in other aspects of school life too), you’ll have a lot of fun along the way. And that fun is what a one-off festival in Birmingham Continue reading →
I can’t believe it’s been a year

Exactly 12 months ago my health visitor told me he thought that LA had Pertusis or as most of you will know it Whooping Cough. So I phoned my doctors who incidentally are rubbish if you need an appointment, and they said I’d either have to wait for a week or go to the local Continue reading →
