This week my photo project is a very personal to my family. Most people have heard of Manchester United and the Munich Air Disaster. One of the players who sadly lost his life in the plane crash was Duncan Edwards who is from my local area.
When I was at school doing a family history project I discovered that i was in fact related to him, because he was my Grandma’s cousin.
A few weeks ago, we visited the Old Trafford museum and found some information abut Duncan Edwards and i attempted to explain to my boys the significance of the area, as you can see from the photo, i don’t think they really understood what i was trying to tell them.
