Today my gorgeous baby girl you become a 1 year old. Mommy and daddy are so proud of you and how you have coped with all you have been through with a seemingly permanent smile on your face.
Well you certainly didn’t hang around making your way into the world, I was only in the hospital 45 minutes before you appeared, silly mommy & daddy had left everything in the car as well!

At 7 weeks old you were admitted to hospital and put on oxygen because you had whooping cough, but in those 4 days that you were in hospital you learnt to smile.

I’ll never forget how scared I was for you over those few days if I could’ve swapped places with you, I really would have there and then.

You recovered so well although you liked the extra oxygen a bit too much and weaning you off it was a very slow process. The cough lingered on for a few months afterwards as well.
Then we had the news that you were losing weight, you have a cows milk protein allergy. So that would explain the sickness and diahorria then.
You were progressing really really well after Cheryl your dietician prescribed you neocate lcp formula at 3 months old, so well you started rolling a lot! Then suddenly you stopped rolling, and started sleeping all day again. The weight started dropping off you again and again we spent time in hospital 10 days of tests and theories crap food and tears lots of tears we are still not sure why although we think you’re anaemic because as soon as they put you on iron drops you started rolling, crawling, supporting your own weight and trying to stand.

Although you still have a little development to catch up on and are not walking yet you are trying too.

You have one of the cheekiest personalities I know and have had the boys wrapped around your little finger since day 1.
You are trying to talk and can really shout Tyler when you want him too, you can say momma, and dadda too. I’m convinced that you shouted Alex at the tv too.
I can’t wait too see what the next 12 months brings, if this 1st 12 months is anything to go by it’s going to be 1 hell of a journey, but it’s still a journey I’m looking forward to taking with you.
