I’m pretty sure most of you will think I’m strange with what I’m about to tell you, but I’m going to bite the bullet and tell you all anyway!
I obsessively dress my boys in identical clothes wherever possible, especially on days out, where there will be a lot of people.

There are a few reasons why I do it, the main reason being I think it looks so cute, especially in photos.
My next reason is a more serious one, a few years ago when JR was only about 2.5 we were at a children’s centre Easter fun day JR wondered off after I loosed his reigns for approximately 30 seconds. I couldn’t find him and I couldn’t see him anywhere. I asked a member of staff for help, but they needed to know what he was wearing – briefly I forgot I couldn’t think properly, panic had set in. The boys weren’t wearing the same. JR was gone for less than a couple of minutes, but it felt like forever.
If he’d been wearing the same as TP I’d have known instantly what he was wearing.
I now have a very real fear that he’ll wander off again, even though I keep my eyes on him. It terrifies me that I could lose him again, and I always remember those few seconds where I needed to regain my composure and remember what he was wearing.
Now should one of them wander off I know exactly what they are wearing instantly by looking at his brother.
Is this so wrong to do, when it puts my mind at rest and also looks so cute!
