You may have noticed I’ve not been blogging much just lately, well that’s because my evening have been taken up by small multi coloured elastic bands. More commonly known as Loom Bands!
It all started when JR was laughed at because he didn’t have any, so I brought a couple of packs to make a band for him and to teach him how to make them. However it didn’t end up that way, I learnt to make a fishtail bracelet for him by watching a you tube tutorial whilst he was on a school trip to Weston-Super-mare.
I tried to teach JR how to make them but instead he was more concerned with searching you tube for more complicated designs for me to make for his friends, teachers and family members, and that is how it happened
That is how I got bit by the bug, I was obsessed, I got myself the real original rainbow loom kit,
and a box to organise the different coloured bands,
I brought myself a book and a rainbow loom monster loom kit. I was even hunting out new coloured bands wherever I saw the packs of bands and then I started instagramming all my creations until I found myself looking for charm tutorials, my sister brought me some frozen themed bands and I made a Queen Elsa charm,
next on my list ‘I want to loom a snowman’ or Olaf more specifically before completing the trio with princess Anna. Then I think I may make start on making 2 full sets of the avengers for on the boys school bags, before trying to make a bouncy ball. Now I may not have been able to get JR to make a loom band at 1st but he has decided to try and give it a go, I have also created 2 looming monsters in my nephews who have already created loom band watches and a bouncy ball.
Do you have any hobbies that are meant for kids but are actually quite fun or challenging? Can I actually now say I craft with the Tiny 3? What do you think let me now in the comments an pop back for Olaf, Anna and Avengers updates soon!
