I’m ashamed to say it as I know it’s an important part of growing up, but I really dislike messy play, and I’ve really not done much of it with the boys outside of playgroups or nursery.
Well this week as we’ve been making the most of our new garden and nice weather, I decided to bite the bullet and let the boys paint, a few weeks ago I’d brought the boys a Ben 10 craft apron each for 99p, I do love a bargain.

The boys had received some paints for Christmas last year, and I’d put them away for another day. This week seemed seemed perfect to become that another day.
I decided to get the boys garden tray that we use instead of a tuff spot out, the paints, some paper and the marbles give them to the boys and see what happened.
I think the next few photos will tell the story quite nicely without anymore rambling from me!
