like most toddlers in the U.K. the Tiny 3 absolutely love Mr Tumble, so when I told the boys that we had the chance to review Mr Tumbles Big Book of Counting they were very excited.
The book is a lift the flap book which introduces the numbers 1-5 in the following ways
- How to recognise the number
- How to count to the number
- How to sign the number
- How to draw the number
Every other page is a lift the flap page and has a different tumble hiding underneath it until the final page where they all hide. This is the part of the book that the boys love most ‘finding and guessing the tumble’. The Tumble’s featured in the book are
The flaps of the books seem really sturdy and still seem like new even though the tiny 3 are not the gentlest of flap openers. The pictures in the book are very bright colours which helps to keep LA’s attention.
Mr Tumble’s big book of counting retails at £7.99 and I think that for this book that is a very fair price. This book would be a great addition to any Mr Tumble fan’s book collection.
