Puddles, Snow, and Sticks

Most weekdays during term time me and the boys walk to school while LA gets pushed along in her buggy. Most of the journeys are uneventful but some like a few last week when the weather is just right can be so much fun.

TP loves nothing more than jumping in puddles so he regularly does the school run in wellies and waterproofs  just so he can splash in puddles and stomp in mud.

One thing that TP hasn’t had much experience of in his life is snow, but last week he was very excited to find that there was snow to walk to school in, and even more excited to find it was still there when he finished nursery.

A few days later after all the snow had melted away, JR and TP had fun with every child’s favourite toy – sticks, and not small sticks no, sticks that were twice as big as they are!

  1. Ah lovely to see the boys out having fun on the way to school, my big boys would be just the same if we had seen any snow! I love the little video clips of T playing there. Thank you for sharing with me on Country Kids.

  2. Children can have so much fun outside with such basic natural things like weather and sticks. I love it! Totally right, who needs a sledge when you have your bottom?!
