WHAT! They’ve turned scooby-doo into PUPPETS! Who on Earth could think this would be a good idea? Was my initial reaction to the DVD that landed on my doorstep last week. However it turns out that it is actually brilliant and still has the humour of the traditional cartoon scooby-doo, just slightly less scary (unless you’re JR, but I won’t go into that) even my 2 year old nephew was mesmerised by it. My eldest nephew particularly enjoyed the extras which are 2 original format Scooby-Doo cartoons The Backstage Rage and Robopup. If fact since Saturday when JR and TP watched the DVD for the 1st time with their cousins they have repeated asked to watch it again and again, and to be honest if our DVD player wasn’t broken, and I didn’t have the hassle of connecting the laptop to the T.V. Every time they want to watch it I’m sure we would have watched it more often as it is all family entertainment. The DVD is rated ‘U’ and is out now to buy. I think this would make a great addition to any Halloween fun, Exsiting Scooby-Doo DVD collections, and would even make a great stocking filler for the Scooby-Doo fan in your life this Christmas.
