Signed 1st editionThe Anagranimals & the wishing tree book giveaway and review

I feel very privileged to be able to offer my readers the chance to win a signed 1st Edition copy of the 1st book in a brand new series called The Anagranimals and the Wishing Tree.
Me and the tiny 3 have been very lucky this past month to be able to review a copy of this book, and me and the boys think it is fantastic. I like that it has more words than their normal books so I’m able to spread the story over 2 or 3 nights. The boys just love the magic storyline.
Here’s the press release bit:

By way of background, Anagranimals is a relatively new company based in South East London. The Anagranimals and the Wishing Tree is our first book for children aged 5 to 9. The book follows six animal friends who one day find themselves at the foot of a magical Wishing Tree. The animals have always longed to be able to do things that other animals can do so, when the Wishing Tree grants the animals a wish, they each wish for the best parts of their favourite animals. Pedro the Pig is transformed into a Pig-Orilla-Roo – a Pig, with the body of a gorilla and the legs of a Kangaroo. Heidi the Hippo becomes a Hippo-Croco-Puss – a Hippopotamus with the torso of a crocodile and the legs of a pussy cat. The story also features an Ele-Zeb-Zee, a Leo-Tigga-Mur, a Gir-Osti Duck and a Rhino-Parra-Rog. Later on in the book the animals learn that they can swap body parts amongst themselves and set off on an adventure….

We have two more in the pipeline and we are about to launch a new range of interchangeable cuddly toys. Each of the toys is made up of a head unit, a body unit and a leg unit. The separate units of each toy fit together with Velcro and can be swapped with the corresponding units of all the others toys. The toys are at final prototype stage and we are in discussions with a number of large retailers who will hopefully start to stock these in the coming months. We also have a fun and interactive website which is due to go live in the next few weeks. The website has a “make your own Anagranimal” app where children can make up their own unique animals based on the characters in the book. There is also a ton of educational resources that promote learning in a fun and engaging manner and a resource section for teachers and parents.
