Wedding photos (what’s the story)

I was hoping to post this last week but we have been moving house and before I had chance to get a copy of the photos I needed they got packed away in a box, a very big, very full box an they were at the very bottom!!

Monday 19th August this year was our 7th wedding anniversary, and I wanted to share with you some of my favourite photos from our wedding day. Also please note I am wearing a dress in these photos, that never happens so I hope you feel privileged.

On Saturday 19th August 2006 at 3pm I arrived at St.Andrews C of E Church in Netherton, and walked down the aisle to meet my groom Mr M&TTT I don’t remember much about the service it’s self although I do remember it seemed to be over seemingly before it had began.

This is us stood together outside the church as man and wife for the 1st time. Just after this was taken I found where my friends Keith, Lynn and Chris were standing to find out the West Bromwich Albion score, my mother-in-law commented that she couldn’t believe I’d be asking that. Keith and Lynn responded by saying that she obviously didn’t know me too well.

This is us just after we arrived at the reception venue with our especially made wedding charm given to us by you’ve guessed it Keith,Lynn and Chris.

This is us dancing our 1st dance, we were meant to be dancing to Eric Claptons You look wonderful tonight, however the DJ forgot his copy so we danced to Elvis Priestly Love me Tender.

Of course no wedding post is complete without a photo of the wedding cake, this was designed and made by the chef at our reception venue and until the actually arriving at the venue the only thing we’d seen was a sketch drawing of the design, it was his wedding gift to us.

  1. What a fabulous post, how lovely to go back to 2006 and remember your wedding day. It’s lovely to see you in a dress, a very special one at that! Happy 7th wedding anniversary, I hope you celebrated well. I hope too you’re making a hole in the unpacking and settling into your new home. Thank you so much for finding the photos to join in with #whatsthestory

    • Thank you we’re still unpacking and we still have things to move in our old place too as well as having to paint the old place and strip the carpets Lino etc out x
