Weekend box club – Review and free box

weekendbox

A few weeks ago we were sent a weekend box to review. A weekend box is a subscription service aimed at 3-8 year olds. Its’s creator Andy Stephenson told me this about why he created it:

I decided to set up Weekend Box after getting frustrated when I was buying gifts for my niece and nephew who are 5: I wanted to buy something educational yet fun, something that stimulated creativity and not something plasticky made in a factory in China; I couldn’t find anything so I quit my job and started developing!

In each weekend box you get 4 different activities one each of :

 Something to Cook
Something to Make
Something to Explore
Something Green

Each project comes in a colour coded packet with a colour coded instruction card and everything you need to complete the project.

Both me and the boys had so much fun with the projects we forgot to take photos during the making and using stages of the review, but honestly we laughed all day.

Weekend boxes are delivered every 2 weeks at a cost of £7 per box and are posted out in time for the weekend. You can even buy gift subscriptions of  3, 6, or 12 months.

I can offer my readers 1 free box each when they visit Weekend Box Club and use the discount code  TAMMY110

Disclosure: We received 1 weekend box for the purposes of this review, all thoughts and opinions are our own.

  1. I’ve not seen this particular brand before, but for people like me – who seem to lack the creative side that comes naturally to others – it looks like a fantastic and varied set of activities.
