On the Tuesday before Christmas we took the kids on a surprise day out to Leicester to watch their second pantomime of the year Cinderella at De Montfort Hall. The first pantomime they had been to was the recording of the Cbeebies pantomime Peter Pan which had only lasted around 45 minutes so held their attention Continue reading →

This week TP had his 1st physiotherapy and occupational therapy sessions for his hyper-mobility and flat-footedness. The appointment was on the site of a former hospital, and these were the old entrance gates which I thought looked quite interesting and photo worthy. I’m linking this to one dad 3 girls my sunday photo.

This week my Sunday photo is of the star on top of my Christmas tree. We brought it in the January sales after JR’s 1st Christmas. At the time we didn’t have a home of our own let alone a tree, but for £1.49 it was a bargain we could turn down. The following Christmas Continue reading →

Elf School at Intu Merry Hill
Every year at Christmas I get lots of joy from taking the tiny 3 to see Santa. I love seeing the look of excitement on their faces and the utter delight they get from meeting him and being given a present by him before Christmas day. However I always despair at the cost of the visit Continue reading →

An afternoon at forest school
Every week since JR started nursery at his current school he has attended a session in their on site forest school. However from year 1 until year 6 they only get 1 term of sessions, and last week was his last session of year 1. It was however a very special session because parents were Continue reading →
