Trampoline fun!

Ever since we moved house last summer and finally got our own garden there’s one thing I’ve wanted to do, make a area of the garden designated to the tiny 3.
My plans included a play area which I will elaborate on in another post once it’s completed, and outdoor toys including a Trampoline!

Our recent holiday to Coombe mill confirmed to me that a trampoline would be a great investment after the boys spent at least 30 minutes each day on at least one of their 3 trampolines.
So this week after much deliberation between me and Mr M&TTT over what size would be suitable for the garden, where it would go and most importantly what would be the safest size for the tiny 3. We bit the bullet and purchased a 6 ft trampoline, and of course safety enclosure.
On Tuesday evening me and Mr M&TTT spent about 3 hours putting it together. It wouldn’t have taken so long if the instructions had mentioned that the legs had a front and back!

Constructing the safety enclosure!

The finished trampoline!
All our effort and frustrations, with us both turning the air a little blue at times paid off and was totally worth it when we saw the look on the boys faces, when we brought them home from their grandmas.
It has been in almost constant use since Wednesday morning with TP & LA having sneaky trampoline fun during the day whilst JR is at school!

And JR changing out of his uniform as soon as he gets home to go outside and bounce!

So I think my predictions were correct and this trampoline is going to get a lot of use! Now we can’t wait for next week when my sister and nephews visit for lots of trampoline fun, and then next Friday when JR breaks up for Easter!

  1. Aww I’m so pleased that they are continuing their fun on their own trampoline! It’s such great fun and good exercise too and all outside – perfect. Thanks for the mention and linking up with Country Kids.
